The 48V system is tempting because you can DIY the system.
Very few items are actually tested by UL for adherence/compliance to their standards due to cost & other constraints. So you will normally see a statement that it "meets UL standards." Hopefully this claim means the company has actually paid an independent lab to test their product to ensure it meets the standards. This inverter company, DatouBoss, claims to be in compliance with European Union (EU) Low-Voltage Device (LVD) standards, which are similar to UL Low-Voltage Device Standards.
The 48V system is tempting because you can DIY the system.
