The cocoa itself isn't genetically engineered; that label is there because the 100% pure cocoa powder is processed on shared factory equipment that also handles bioengineered ingredients like soy or beet sugar. According to the USDA Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard, companies must disclose any potential cross-contact risk on their packages. While the USDA manages these disclosure labels, the FDA ensures the overall safety and accuracy of the actual food ingredients.

Bio engineering has been around for thousands of years. Just the methods for achieving the goal have changed.

This.

There's no difference between selecting a food with a favorable mutation and geneically modifying the food to have that mutation except for the amount of time the former takes and the latter saves..

Where do you get the idea that bioengineered crops are an inherently bad thing? Tiktok, X or Facebook? Because every single educational institution or educated person will tell you bioengineered crops are ideal, any negative is outweighed by the positive, so tell us, what's your strongest argument against Bioengineered foods/crops?

"I read it from my uncle Billy Bob on Facebook" is not a valid answer.
