This CONODO player is a very basic budget MP3 player best suited to small offline music libraries and simple use. The deal stands out because the 32GB version is really a 32GB microSD card, and the player can take up to 128GB cards, with Bluetooth 5.3, FM radio, and drag and drop file transfer. The main knocks are flimsy plastic build, confusing navigation, and buggy playback that struggles with some MP3s and converted video files. The screen and FM radio also draw criticism, making it a barebones option if you can live with the limits.

  • Listeners with a modest local library, because the 128GB limit is enough when you are not carrying a huge FLAC collection.

  • Parents loading a small music library for a young child, because the player handles simple drag-and-drop playback without needing a phone or streaming app.

  • Campers who need screen-free music, because it is a lightweight player with physical buttons and no phone dependency.

  • Collectors with more than 128GB of music, because the storage cap blocks larger libraries.

  • Listeners who want a polished interface, because the menu navigation is confusing and cumbersome.

  • People who want reliable format support, because it can glitch and fail to play all MP3 files.

  • Video watchers who downloaded clips for offline playback, because converted files can still show as missing and become tedious to use.

I'm returning mine. Bought it to watch YouTube vids I downloaded, but you have to convert them first. Then, it says there's no file after converting. Very inconvenient and takes so much time. It reminds me of the iPod Chinese knockoffs back in the day. At least those had a metal body. This is plastic.
trying to watch those deleted clips from Linh Tran of LA?

As many times as this as been posted, it's shameful that slickdeals can't get the description right.

There is NO ON-BOARD STORAGE. The 32GB storage is from a 32GB SD card.

How do I know? I bought one and returned it.

Team Creative Zen Vision:M
This was the one that changed the way I listen to music. Before it, I had various sizes of the Creative Zen Jukebox (and after it, I had a 120GB iPod Classic).

The Vision M had a face button that you could map to a custom function. For me, that was their "album of the day" function. It basically grabbed a random album from your library and played it in its entirety. When that album was over, I'd just press the button again and get a new album to listen to.

Ever since then, any music player I want has to have this feature (and sometimes that means installing RockBox to get it). Currently, I have an innioasis G3 which doesn't support this function in the native player but I sideloaded PowerAmp onto it and all is good.

Anyways, sorry for the ramble. The Vision M just has a special place in my heart. I love that thing

the only thing sucks is 128gb hard limit. I have way more music than that. Also I prefer FLAC support.

I feel like if you are the kind of person with over 128GB of music and also enjoys listening to FLAC, this device isn't even worth considering (even if it DID have FLAC support).

I wouldn't get this thing for myself for those reasons but I'm consierding getting it for my 5 year old and loading up all their favorite music on it

I was lucky to buy a one sansa clip+ for $50 last year. I set it up for my daughter to use at summer camp this summer there they can't have screens. They are fantastic mp3 players (almost as good as the Zune safely stored in my junk drawer).
I just replaced battery in my Zune 30, long live Zune!

Bought one from a previously deal. The menu navigation was infuriating. When you press down on a direction pad, you expect it to move down not back out of the menu. I couldn't get used to that. But then the data card failed before I had my music in there, so I didn't have a ton of time to try and get used to it.

I kept mine. I have it in a box somewhere along with the original parallel port adapter. Still works great with the songs I loaded in 1999.
