I don't think the thumbs down is because they are fine with micro-USB. I believe it is because literally under the title on the Amazon page, it lists this:
Compact 5W Bluetooth speaker with clear sound, 100-ft range, IPX5, mic, AUX Input and USB-C Charging Cable.
I don't think they would include a USB-C cable if it only has a micro-USB interface.
Amazon listings are frequently a hodge-podge of conflicting copy/pasted info.
The Angle 3 Gen 4 that a commenter linked to IS stated as Frequently Returned even at 4.5 starts out of 150k+reviews, but that is not SD here, it is a DIFFERENT but similar model.
