Looks like a rebadged Westinghouse. Worth a try as it seems the least expensive tri fuel enclosed inverter in that power class by several hundred.

Actually- it's a Pulsar. Seems to share parts with the 10,500 watt trifuel generator also listed at Lowes.

Price was just too good to ignore, so I ended up buying buying one.

According to my Order history, store pickup will be ready on the 30th. When I made my purchase late last night, there appears to have been at least 10 sold, though the number of available units on their website has since climbed back up to 50.

This Kobalt KPG115TISRCO appears to be variant of the Pulsar PG105TiSRCO, which has an MSRP of $2600. Both of which are the 2nd generation of the PGD105TiSCO, which is currently $2060 and has a 4 Star review on Amazon and Home Depot, and 4.4 on Lowe's.

The primary difference of R model Puslar Generators is the ATS port and a built-in battery tender. The rest of the basic specs for KPG115TISRCO, PG105TiSRCO, and PG105TiSCO are basically the same the Kobalt has an inexplicable extra 1kw of peak load capacity, and the "R" models are somehow 37# lighter.

While I don't like purchasing something like this without in-depth reviews and the 48 hour return window doesn't provide much of an opportunity to asses the unit, I'm comforted by the fact that there is some traceable (mostly positive) product lineage.

Have you had a chance to try it out and if so what are your thoughts? Thanks
