I bought a 3/8" brushless compact impact wrench to try to replace a larger 1/2" impact wrench I used regularly but I only had 1/2" impact sockets up to that point so this set was exactly what I needed in order to use that impact wrench without stupid adapters which add length and reduce torque. The 3/8" impact wrench is still powerful enough to easily remove any bolt or lug nut on my car (except the axel nut of course) so this VEVOR 3/8" socket set is my new main socket set that I use all the time since the 3/8" impact wrench is still powerful enough for anything I want to use it for and it is significantly lighter, smaller, and easier to handle than the 1/2" one. This set is plenty strong enough for any car or home use, and it is half the price of any other reputable big name brand similar set. I have about 15 different VEVOR tools now and they seem to be like ICON without the chrome finish or fancy packaging where the tools are surprisingly good quality and strong but they just cost less.

If I didn't get my Craftsman set from a free gift card.. I would probably buy this as the start off basis for a tool collection.. with the 70 dollar difference I would get ratcheting wrenches.. a tool box..
Various pliers, crescent wrench.. and still come out ahead with better tools..

Lol too damn scary.. Would be such a headache trying to return if they fk up your order. With Amazon it'd be easy but all the horror story with Vevor's CS.. I don't know

Not chrome-moly, but chrome-vanadium. Usually the former is preferred for impact sockets. Just a heads up.
