The description here on SlickDeals is very wrong.

The fan is powered by the Ryobi USB Lithium batteries. The batteries have a USB-C port on them for both charging the battery and charging external devices. Battery example link: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../325312200

The charger can charge 3 of those batteries simultaneously rather than using the USB-C port.

There is no way to directly connect the charger to the fan.

Actually this charger is NOT simultaneous. It charges the three batteries sequentially. Just want to be clear on that so it's not a surprise. I still like this charger a lot - used this deal to buy my third of these chargers so now I have one of the 3-port USB Lithium chargers at each of the floors of my house for convenience.

Doesn't every multicharger sequentially charge the batteries? I find it hard to believe you'd find one to equally charge every battery with equal wattage at the same time. Lol.

Ryobi does make a 2-port simultaneous charger for the 18V batteries, but you're right that most multiport chargers are some version of sequential.
