It's not. I have it. Bought at Target on clearance. Pretty heavy duty. I have put some pressure on it with no issues. That said, the scraper blade to side is greater than 90 degrees, which makes it difficult to scrape near the corners of the griddle. I would not recommend it for that reason.

Any recommendations for one that works better for corners?

I do not have any recommendations. It works well enough for me. I just have to use it at an angle to get the edges and corners. Annoying but not enough to buy another one. Would just recommend one where the front to edge is at a right angle or less.

I ordered this same item 3 times, all 3 times I received a box of scouring pads. Then I called to have it reordered for a 4th time. I was told to call back after I receive it to have the price adjusted back to the sale price. Good luck with this one! I'm out!
