These look super sketchy. Not sure I'd plug my phone into these things.

Why do they look like someone made them with a 3D printer?

Get used to it. This is the new way to make things cheaper at home and at scale too.

Yeah this is definitely someone in China that didn't pay the AaaS (American as a Service) fee to say "hey, maybe don't use that name."

Yet the cable seems to be the weakest points... to me it doesn't look 3d printed necessarily, but I am not versed in teling the difference.. what is giving you "this looks 3d printed" from these photos?

bought one that looks like this one about 3 weeks ago. it gets the job done pretty well for the price. charges my phone pretty fast even though the cables look cheaply made.

Just ordered one. Thanks, OP.

Update: 10/1 7pm - I just rec'd it. And they charge 2 to 3 times faster than what I have. Also, the 2-10' cables are better than the 3' one I've been using for a couple of years.

No way is 3d printing cheaper than injection molding at scale.

With Chinese printers you'd have to go over 10,000 units to notice a difference cost wise today.

And with them constantly rebranding, it's iffy at best.

3D printing lets each brand get their own design easily as part of the print.
