Yes. I had to strip the seasoning off of mine because I couldn't clean mine for a few days after cooking due to a family emergency. I used the scraper first to remove rust, then Dawn and the orange pad to strip the grease off, and then used the pumice stone to remove rust. I used Barkeeper's Friend to remove residual rust, rinsed several times, Dawn to remove any BF residual, rinsed, then seasoned it. It worked good.

I used a knock off to reseason after some moisture got under the cover. The pumice stones do a great job cleaning off the old seasoning and rust.
