This seems to be a good price. Why hasn't anybody shown much interest?
I bought a no-name brand several weeks ago and had to return it because the fan blades were making loud noises. Wonder how is the quality of this one.

I'm curious too why this post hasn't gotten more attention. I haven't used this particular model, but I have a Frigidaire dehumidifier that runs pretty much nonstop every day and has been going strong for 10 years. I've barely had to do anything to it other than empty the water and clean the filter every now and then. It's been out of warranty for a long time, so I actually opened up the case recently and gave the inside a good cleaning too. Hopefully that'll help it keep going for many more years.
The price OP shared is pretty good. I paid about twice as much for mine back then. If my dehumidifier weren't still going strong, I'd probably be tempted to pick this one up myself.

I'm done with frigidaire dehumidifiers. I've had 3 fail all right after the 3 year warranty. I just bought a cheap 50 pint no name brand from Amazon for half the price of this.

Sold out now.
I was in the market for a dehumidifier. I've spoken to a HVAC guy/engineer just today and a couple appliance salesmen this week, they all say Frigidaire is one of the very best with Friedrich and GE the other ones. The appliance store guys refuse to sell the no - name cheap imports because they cannot get replacement parts for them. However, at a low enough price it can become a disposable item and just buy another cheap new one. The limited Amazon reviews shown on Woot for this item do not do much to instill confidence in this specific model.
The HVAC guy told me there's no point buying one now here in the NYC area because the heating season is coming up and we'll need to add humidity to the air. I was advised to get a model that has a built in pump which I assume this one does.

Who repairs dehumidifiers? You're going to pay more to have someone repaired it than the cost of a new one. They are disposable items.
