Curious what the difference between this one and the one listed as newer for $12.59 is.

The skill for Alexa for this brand sucks and the app for it is more of a shopping app.

That being said, I use the nightlight nearly every night outside at around 20% intensity or less and it's still very bright in an area with minimal light pollution from cars, streetlights, or other houses. Just don't recommend if you want to use it with Alexa.

The newer one is charged using USB-C. This one is charged using magnetic charger / proprietary system from Olight. Otherwise they're the same I think. Both have magnetic base, so you can stick them anywhere.

I got a couple of these when they first came out. The compatibility with the Olight app was super frustrating, as it never seemed to remember the light. I'd have to add it any time I wanted to use the app to control it. Then, sometimes the light I had previously added would show back up.
Haven't tried using the app with them in almost a year, so maybe that's fixed.

I own reach, and both this and newer (USB-C rechargeable) versions are identical aside from the charging method. Both function identically.

The app works just fine for me, yes it's integrated into their storefront app, but it works just fine and my Olight connected devices always show up for me. They just won't connect obviously if the better is depleted or controlling device Bluetooth is off. Otherwise they work!

The older Obulb Pro does not work with their main app, they have an alternate app for that bulb which was actually their first app. Not sure why that bulb wasn't integrated into their current official app.

This one also has a wack-a-mole game through the app where the Sphere C does not; requires multiple lights to work though. This one also comes with a metal plate to create a spot that it can magnetically attach to.

Same here. I have a couple Olight doodads... the light strip and a couple orbs. They're cool once connected, but I usually have to reconnect them every time.
