I'll have to give it a look, no ac in my car and I saw someone yesterday driving with a fan mounted blowing on them and I smacked myself thinking "why didn't that ever cross my mind". So a nice rechargeable would be good BUT I'll need to be mindful of the battery if it's gonna sit in a hot car.

I have one that is identical to this (except the base is a giant clip and the entire case is black). Be forewarned that the touch screen is a nightmare. Touching and holding the power/on pad typically does not turn it on after a couple of weeks (I'm talking 50+ attempts) and the speed (+/-) pads are nearly as useless. The unit also likes to turn itself on or crank the speed up (typically to max) whenever i wants to. The battery takes a log time to charge but lasts for hours (fortunately, you can use it while charging). If you're think about getting the version with the clip, don't bother. The plastic is brittle so hinges on the clip crack apart after a moth or so. HTH. Otherwise, it is a great fan: I rarely turn it on over 1%... when I can get it to turn on (I run it non-stop and recharging before it dies to ensure it is on when I need it/flipping it away from me when I do need it, and that barely consumes any electricity.
