Not horrible. Sad that I didnt buy last year because I was thinking a 5080 Super with more ram would come out. LOL.

They had some 5080FE in stock for 999.99 while the 20% cashback paypal offer was going on last year. I couldn't justify the upgrade from a 4070ti. Even though RAM issues had already begun. Probably should have. That said, my 4070ti upgrade was from the GTX 1070. So I've gone 8 years between upgrades before.

If you have a store selected that has them instock then find a store that doesn't have them in stock and switch to it. It will drop the price..

Same here, I went from a GTX 1080 to a 4070ti this year for 1440p gaming.

I think we'll be good for the next 4+ years, at least for 60fps+. If you can score a deal on a 9800X3D then that may be a good upgrade. I jumped on the Staples deal for $350 2 months ago, I spent less on the GPU and CPU than if I would have gotten a new 5070ti lol.

I upgraded from a 7600x. Although the frame jump was not that impressive (10-20fps increase on average), the 1% lows are so much better now that I don't notice any stutters in games anymore.
