This CyberPowerPC prebuilt stands out for packing a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080 Founders Edition into a price that is hard to match by building the same core parts yourself. The confirmed configuration includes 32GB DDR5 6000, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, a Gigabyte B850 WiFi motherboard, and a 1000W Gold power supply. The main concern is listing confusion around the SSD, with the page showing both 1TB and 2TB. A few early units also showed assembly or shipping issues, including a broken RAM latch and one system that would not POST, so it looks strongest for raw value if you are comfortable checking the build on arrival.
The bundle pricing can work out favorably versus assembling the CPU, RAM, SSD, and RTX 5080 separately.
Some buyers value the RTX 5080 at MSRP as the main reason to buy the prebuilt.
Early setup reports show the system can detect an RTX 5080 Founders Edition with a Gigabyte B850 WiFi motherboard and Kingston 1TB NVMe SSD.
Gaming performance can feel noticeably better after upgrading from a 4060 Ti, including smooth 4K at 60 FPS in initial testing.
The listing description can conflict with the title and specs by claiming a 2TB SSD while other details show 1TB.
The prebuilt can include DDR5-6000 CL48 RAM instead of tighter CL36 timings, which may matter for latency-sensitive workloads.
Some units can fail to POST on arrival, requiring troubleshooting before the system is usable.
Build quality issues can occur, including missing fans or poor wiring that reportedly led to failure around one year.

Which PSU and Watts?
Will let everyone know specs after I get out of work. Unfortunately, I have not had my 5080 usage approved by fellow members, so I don't know if I'm allowed to need one.

Still, it is frustrating that Cyberpower had to eek out $50 more margin vs splitting the difference and going with a CL36 set.

Depends on which DDR5 Manufacture ICs Samsung/Hynix/Micron. Manually tune the memory to Lower Latency.

This totals to $2,418 before tax. And yes, the prices above use pre-RAMpocalypse and pre-AI-GPU pricing to truly evaluate if this is a deal.
In normal times, this would be, I think, a +5 or so deal rating.
In current times, you would add $500 for the 5080 FE + $150 to cover the DDR5 inflation = $3,078 before tax.
Using this, I think I'm going to keep the unit. As a long-time SDer, I struggle to find joy in the $2,299 purchase price as I long for days gone by pricing.

A 5080 is ~1500. This was ~2000. I get a real CPU upgrade and go from DDR4 to DDR5. Would I have picked some of these parts myself? No, but given the prices, I can figure out upgrades later if I really need them.
