In terms of features - it beats many $1000+ phones.
The only (and it's a major) downside is the stupidly limited upgrade/support by Motorola, at only 2 years.
And then no more aux input. I am very sad

That said, it doesn't have the most powerful processor, and the camera is good but not amazing. The other downside is Glance. Really annoying data collection app that Motorola will reinstall on every update.
If you use Google Fi the current model year is regularly on sale for $100 with subscription restrictions.
