Before you buy, people in colder climates should seriously think about the GT4000 instead of this GT4000S, because the 4000 has self-preheat, meaning it can work if it's been sitting in your car parked outside for several hours in negative temps after a short warmup period.

Same price!?! Don't think you've ever actually compared prices between those 2 brands, Gooloo is cheaper for similar models.

Noco are great, but they sure as hell aren't priced the same compared to Gooloo.

Gooloo quality is excellent. They test well including Project Farm, I have been using them for over a decade no problems, have helped several stranded drivers with them, they hold charge for ages.

The closest & cheapest NOCO equivalent has to this is probably the GBX45 (with 60W PD input for semi-fast charging, but significantly lower claimed peak amperage at 1250A vs 4000A) and it almost never dips below its normal $125 price. NOT the same price. I know because I've had my eye on it.

NOCO's GBX 1750A, 2500A, and 4250A starters are $175, $250, and $370 respectively.

The 100W PD input & output on this one sets it apart from virtually all other jump starters. Too many jump starters take several hours to top off at piddle little 5-15W charge rates. That won't be the case with this one.

NOCO isn't anywhere near the price of GOOLOO when comparing similar models of each brand. NOCO is very good, but so is GOOLOO as proven by Project Farm, Steinfab Garage who literally throws all 3 of his on the ground all the time and they still work, and many other reputable uses who show real world usage and experience with that brand. I also bought the GT4000S last year after Project Farm reviewed it and it has great CCA output cranking over my V6 as fast as a new car battery does. NOCO does the same, but it costs 2x the normal price for approximately the same rated CCA output and battery capacity of this one, or 3x the price of this one when it is on sale.

Worth the extra money? I'm in the pnw and it can go slightly below freezing here but nothing too crazy.

Gooloo is a good brand however I would wait for the Wolfbox 4000 it goes on sale for $60-62 . Search slick deals to see how often. Set a deal alert
