Not grass fed. So not as good for skin elasticity.
That's not how that works.

I'm not one to shill anything. In fact, I'm not sure how good these will actually work because I used a different collagen powder, but it does work! My right leg has a bad knee and ankle. My left leg feels pretty much like normal wear and tear when I run intervals. Since taking collagen powder, my right leg almost feels as good as my left. If you have any joint pain or if you work out hard and intense, collagen powder is definitely worth looking into!
You realize it's a basic, albeit incomplete, mediocre source of protein?

Eating dried skin and connective tissue doesn't actually do anything for your connective tissue.

Literally the ONLY - yes ONLY studied supplement that has shown and positive benefit for SOME PEOPLE is glucosamine.

Seems high quality research is sparse and mostly shows "modest benefits." I guess it could round out a bad diet and may help those people. Sleep, sunscreen, healthy diet, stress/cortisol control, hydration etc. probably has a bigger benefit than collagen.

If this helps with better hydration and the dopamine boost controls for cortisol, than $30 for a placebo effect could be worth it for some.

I couldn't find a publicly accessible Certificate of Analysis (COA) showing actual numbers for lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury, microbiological testing, etc. Fernes says the testing exists, but that's different from me being able to independently inspect the laboratory report.
A completely rando company running an arguable "if it's too good to be true..." sale, in this materials cost market, and for this extended amount of time? I'm strongly guessing you won't find such a CoA because it's not going to exist. I'd bet the farm this unregulated product doesn't even contain 50% of the claimed protein. 134 upvotes on this brand is kinda crazy imo Smilie

I don't take it as a protein source; I have protein powder for that. I don't see why you have to call it "dried skin and connective tissue" it's collagen, bro. It also helps with your skin and your hair. Studies on glucosamine remain as "mixed" as collagen studies. I can also speak from my personal experience. The collagen I take really helps.
