The standard Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade for Hogwarts Legacy costs $10.00 (or £8.49 in the UK) if you already own the original Nintendo Switch version. If you want to step up to the Digital Deluxe Edition, the upgrade costs $15.00.💡 The Cost-Saving Loophole The Switch 2 release is treated as a separate game install rather than a standard patch. Due to this same loophole, you can can borrow the Switch 1 game from your local library for free, purchase the Switch 2 upgrade for $10, and return the Switch 1 game. Since the Switch 2 upgrade is the standalone game and not a patch, you don't need to own the Switch 1 version to play it.

Yep! Totally worth it for either. Switch 2 version is stunning. Switch 1 version is still there and playable, just pushing the limits of old hardware and its obvious.

I didn't see the $15 upgrade to the deluxe version ether, only the $10 but you can add the dark arts pack for $8 more and it's basically everything the deluxe comes with.
