I'm going to try this because it's the exact same exterior design as the one I use for most everything today (other than when I have to go to a fallback blower when my battery is low), but if it's lighter weight than my current one, from using smaller/weaker batteries, then it's going back. It claims the same performance numbers, so we'll see.

The last one with this same generic design, which I had purchased on April 6, still works great, but it was only $16.05...I'd pay this much IF it's the same unit, with performance that matches the Wolfbox MF100, like my current "cheap" duster does. I sold my MF100 as the April version of this performed the same.

I know that there's a good chance that I'll be let down by this one though. It's all in the battery cells used!

don't let these things fool you. they are nowhere as strong as a can of air. Most dust will laugh at this. Small objects will blow over before the dust comes off. You need a brush.

This is good for maybe cleaning out a keyboard or cracks of things you don't want to brush. I cant imagine much else.
The main difference between these and cans is that a can provides instant pressure while these take a finite time to spin up. That instant spurt can help dislodge dirt and dust.

The fan I have seems as strong as canned air without having to restock the canned air. I also use it as a bellow to get my smoker tube for meat started faster.

150000 and up of course is better but these put out strong air depending on which attachments you use. Hard plastic, so don't drop or it'll break the nozzles. The guy that says air can is stronger doesn't have one or his is defective

If the batteries are so important, why not just buy a bare minimum unit and source quality batteries?

They also make ones that use power tool batteries.

Yep. It's the instant burst of air since it's compressed from the liquid inside. AND it comes through the tiny straw. It's not the wind speed, its the pressure

Many, if not most, of these things are not able to be opened without cutting it open. This model DOES have external fasteners for the easiest of disassembly, so yes indeed, these are the model I'd still get, and put some better cells in.

Mine arrived today, but I won't have a chance to check it out for another day or two.

I do need to get rid of all my "lesser" models from past deals.

Sounds like a perfect excuse to get a 3D printer and build a mega duster out of all the lesser models.

Wire it up to a Ryobi 12Ah battery and turn it into a mini leaf blower.

Hah, that's a solution.

Makes such too unwieldy for where/how I use these things though. Anything larger I'd just use my metrovac, leafblowers, or oil-less compressor to blow things off.

the cheaper ones did not test as good on Project Farm as the bigger dollar ones. watch his test if you need the best.

i just happen to use my garage compressor for his pressure dusting if this doesn't do the job
