I have the 12" version and it is our go-to. Seriously underrated pan. Lighter than the more expensive options and very easy to clean due to the seasoning.

How long have you had it ? Also when cooking eggs for example, do you have to get it super hot first ? Or it works just like a regular poison nonstick

I preheat it up to the temp I plan on using it to (medium to medium hot for me), plop half a tablespoon of butter in and fully coat the bottom (should melt and sizzle quickly and brown in 30 seconds or so). Crack 2 or 3 eggs into a small bowl and pour the eggs altogether gently into the preheated and oiled pan. Let it cook at least half way before trying to get the eggs to release from the bottom. A gentle shake or a gentle pry with a silicone spatula will do the trick. Once the eggs are released, slide them around every 20 seconds or so until done to your desire. Slide them onto the serving plate.

I have the 10' and 12". The 12" is too big for eggs. 3 eggs can best be cooked in a 10" pan.

Yes, it does get hot so I usually put a silicone sleeve or towel over it.

I bought this pan during a previous sale. It's "ok" at best. It heats unevenly and is not nearly as nonstick as my cast iron pans or my Blackstone griddle. It isn't horrible. I still use it, but I'd try something else.

I've had it for 7 months and always preheat it before cooking. Splash test a little water in it to see it bead up before adding my oil to cook. It is carbon steel so no poison here. I have a de buyer one also that probably gets a better sear for certain things but is much heavier so we lean on this one for quick and easy recipes.

I'm not a talented cooking person, but I actually bought this pan last year and absolutely could not get the 'non-stick' abilities to work. I think the very first time I tried something it was okay, but the pan very quickly picks up grime and stuff that gets baked onto it and never comes off. I had it for like 18-20 days before I sent it back, it just looked so filthy in that amount of time I shuddered to think what condition it would be in after a year. Maybe I don't know the right tricks but everything stuck like glue to that pan after first use.

These pans are thin for carbon steel. It will warp if you use for induction. If you want a low priced carbon steel pan, I recommend Ikea VARDAGEN 9 or 11 inch pans. they are thick, retain heat.
Always preheat your pan for the leidenfrost effect then cook to make it less stick.

Pans that need seasoning need to be used with ALOT of oil/fats early on to get the seasoning going. (with will prevent sticking)

Irregardless of what people like to say, they also need to be cleaned with soap ALOT in the beginning if you want an actual coat of seasoning and not just carbon build up.

Got this for $14 2 years ago great pan, the Ikea carbon steels are great for the price too.

Make sure you read up on how to care for these or you will have a bad time like half of the reviews on carbon steel pans lol
