not this brand but I bought an off-brand back in beginning of 2025. it died in September or so. Warranty process was admittedly great, they sent me a new one within a week
replacement died with under a year of use too. refrigerant issue of some sort, stops pulling water out of the air. They refunded me so I can't complain at all, essentially 2 years free
that being said -- the next one is getting ordered from Ebay with the 3 year alltrade warranty. I have had EXCELLENT experience cashing in on that warranty
Price history shows this is the standard price for this thing. Looks like the price spiked up a couple of weeks earlier this months so they could lower the price back to the normal price and claim a 40% discount.
Do shady marketing tactics equal a shady product?
Was considering for my basement to replace what is there, but from the comments the feature of being able to attach to a drain hose seems to be a weakness so that's a deal breaker for my use case.

For a basement always go over what you think you need. I have the midea 50 pint with pump and it's amazing. Pumps up into my utility sink, cleaning is easy as running the filter under water and wiping down the coils and letting it dry for an hour

It's built in. It's a drain hose with a pump about 20' long and the thickness of a pen. When 3/4 full the pump turns on and drains into my basement utility sink. I'm pretty sure it can pump up ten or twelve feet. Not 100% sure about that

Instead of dripping the condensate into a bucket that you to need to manually dump every 3-4 days, you connect a hose and run it to a drain or other use.
I have the drain connected to a 25ft hose that runs around the edge of my basement to the sump pump from my HVAC units. From that sump pump, I have a 1/2" tube running up and out of the basement to ground level, then buried 10ft to drain into a koi/goldfish pond water feature near my front entrance door. So all the condensate from the house is collected to keep my outdoor ~20cu ft "pond" filled with water year-round.
