These are actually really good. In desperate times they will even work in a gin and tonic. It's a lot of pouches though. Time to share.

FYI: There's numerous lawsuits against the parent company of True Lemons for deceptive advertising. It contains manufactured/synthetic citric acid, and is supposedly categorized as artificial. Even though the labeling and everything suggest it is natural and come from lemon juice. The flavor supposedly comes mostly from the citric acid and it's unclear how much is actual real fruit juice.

So you're not getting a product that only contains natural ingredients. Since the Citric acid is listed first it has the highest amount of that. Supposedly products like this has up to 90% citric acid, but True Lemon doesn't disclose it, like many other things.

If you're okay with that, it seems like a good product. I've enjoyed it in the past. It's probably fine, but know what you're getting and don't be fooled by their misleading marketing.

Honestly if the chemicals are pure, it hardly matters to me what their source is. The artificial food grade citric acid isn't made from petroleum feed stock or something like that, it's made from corn starch or beet sugar and the like. The problem with this product for me is, that consuming acidic drinks regularly, risks eroding your teeth and accelerating cavities. As I get old that's an increasing problem. It's not worth it.

If only you know to rinse your mouth with water after drinking any acidic/sugary drink you would save your teeth alot of damage.

These are really good but you will waste like 75% of this box because they go bad and crystallize within 6-12 months.

I go through a lot of these (grapefruit). They're my favorite "mix-in" when making carbonated water at home. No syrups or other powders come close in my experience.

After buying this, I really don't know how I'm going to get through 500 packets. Sure, they taste good enough, but I can also just use liquid lemon juice when I'm at home. I don't see me taking so many of these out and about with me to spice up my water.
In the meantime, I guess ill vacuum seal them up 50 at a time.

This product does taste great, however a word of warning, they do have a tendency to cake up similar to a sweetener packet, at least here in florida. My advice is store these in ziplocks to keep the moisture out of them and only leave a few out for regular use

Currently the listing shows that it costs $14 per .03 ounce packet or $466/ounce so for that reason I'm out

But on the box itself it says "Crystallized Lemon"...

Yesterday I found a box of a mostly empty 100 pack of the orange variety in the back of the pantry. It expired Feb 2022 lol. Common sense said to throw it away, but curiosity said to try it. All 4 packets are still in the their similar-to-salt form, nothing like the bad amazon reviews showing browning and clumping. Cool bonus though, the orange now tastes like lemon!

aren't these individually packaged though, you need to put it in a ziplock in addition to that?

People fear mongering 'cause it "lumps" up, like somehow that makes it inedible...I guess stirring isn't a thing. Yes, the contents don't come out as easily, just rip open the packet.
