$999 here 3 weeks ago. Also additional $20 off Sam's tv promotion. Walked in at 8 am not expecting to buy a tv. Walked out with this. Should have also bought the other one they had left.

I had been noticing tempting clearance prices on last year's TVs. Almost bit a few times. This one was too good to pass up.

Nothing was in the app. None of the clearance prices I had seen in August were in the app either. Even now some good deals on lesser TVs still on my store. Obvious YMMV.

Also seeing some decent clearance prices at Costco. Samsung 65" OLED for $999 for example.
