The show is uneven but above average. Once you get past the puppetry (it took me a few episodes) there are some really interesting plots and characters and had a few novel takes that hadn't been covered by sci-fi on tv before. Some of the overall arcs are recycled but the eps themselves are worth watching.
It was cancelled on a cliffhanger after the 4th season, but SciFi ran a follow up movie to tie everything together at the end.

Never heard of this before. Did they ever finish the show or was it canned before properly finishing?
The show is uneven but above average.
