I've looked around for reviews that cover the DVR. Is it functional enough to be able to monitor past movement around d the van and for how long. I want something I can use for boondocking and parking at a trailhead and at least some chance to see what happened around the van while I was gone. I've been looking at this system or Aosu cameras. Solar power and wireless I can attach to my Promaster roof rack would be great.

I use a Wolfbox rearview mirror cam on my Promaster that records front and back. Plugged into an auxiliary battery, I get about four hours of looped recording time on a 64gb micro SD card and with the crash setting set super sensitive will lock videos if someone messes with the van. I'm still searching for something small and unobtrusive to cover the sides.
