These are give or take all made by the same company in random chinese factory and re-badged with a random name brand.
I tried a bluetooth one I was hoping to do PC > Bluetooth but it didn't work so here I am with USB only. I am hesitant on installing random Chinese iphone/android app as well and realistically in 5 years time I doubt the apps will be supported anymore. I think the one I bought was like 15 bucks posted on SD here so sales happen often I think if you can wait out. If you are really set on the bluetooth one, I feel it could be cheaper (just search SD history for pricing)
Only thing I can say that can be annoying is if you don't feed it straight, it doesn't print out straight. I print once in awhile so I actually just feed one print at a time,

The print heads on the phomemo are low quality and will probably burn out after a couple months. More of a smear than a dot matrix.
Also would not feed properly on my 1"x2" labels. It would calibrate them fine but when it came to printing the platen roller would keep spinning and the labels would get stuck.
I'm pretty sure these cheap Chinese printer parts are made in the same factory so this applies to all the cheap brands.
Again I'm pretty picky on labels for my shipping packages. Would this satisfy the average person, maybe.
