It's not e-waste, but you could build a better pc for the price. This would be under $700 at current prices for used parts. The market sucks, this should be a $450-$500 pc by now.

These prices aren't going away. We probably will never see $5-600 consoles again, and much less in the PC gaming market. Whether on purpose or not, a 'new normal' is being set in the market. No company will ever give away cheap RAM, storage or gfx cards again. There's just not a good reason to believe they will. Me thinks anyway...🤷

That's not set in stone. The graphics cards cycled through insane prices, then to flooding the market when gpu mining was a thing. Storage and ram have also had periods of high and low prices. It may end up being different with AI, but if it's a bubble, then you bet prices will go down. Even if it's not a bubble, prices could still drop when manufacturers adjust to the demand of data centers and consumers. As long as they don't manipulate the market.
