I bought one from Costco because it was $500 off about 2 months ago and the lights broke in the keyboard. I hate returning things even though I have 3 months but they don't even want to answer me on social media which sounds ridiculous to me because returns just looks bad on the company and gives bad reputation, and all they had to do was just give answer and send me a new, cheap keyboard and it is a pretty cheap quality keyboard.

Check CyberPowerPC reviews. I would not purchase another CyberPowerPC again. I purchased directly from from CyberPower. The build quality was not great missing extra fans ordered and poor wiring. It eventually died at 1 year exactly. Customer service was horrible and offered no help.

You effectively do not have a warranty in my experience, they are not honorable and... I did have defective ram. This gentleman's review is accurate to my experience.

As you mentioned their keyboards are very cheap but the components in the PC are a solid value in the current market. Anytime you buy a pre-built from an OEM the peripherals are basically e-waste. Dell, Alienware, ibuypower ect. All have terrible keyboards. Personally I don't even really want the keyboard and mouse it comes with. I'd rather they just knock $10 off the total price and call it a day.

Yeah but their components are not proprietary and it would still be cheaper to buy this for the parts inside and use them in your own build. You're looking at 2k in components alone.

I've always assumed if you were buying a gaming PC, you would want decent input devices and know the pack in accessories are the cheapest garbage possible.

For anyone tempted to use the included accessories, do yourself a favor and either keep them in the closet as a spare, give them to your least favorite friend, or put them straight in the garbage. Even the cheapest Logitech bundle is a massive upgrade over any pack in. Your wrists and fingers will thank you.

Personally I'm still using a Cyberpower PC I got on Black Friday 2020 (RTX 3080 gfx card) and it still works although it runs a little loud.

I will say that the 3080 that came with my Cyberpower PC arrived with a slight defect - the fan shroud was installed slightly crooked which caused one of the fans to scrape against the side of the shroud whenever games cranked up the heat. Made a very obvious scratching sound. I had to loosen the sheath a little and readjust it in order for the fan to stop scraping against it.

Personally I don't recommend buying any custom build without a solid warranty if you're not savvy with opening up computers and troubleshooting various components because that's part of the fun of owning a custom build IMO.

What is the quality of individual parts in something like this? Like the CPU and graphics card are just standard bits right? Are they cheaping out on motherboard? RAM? The case looks expensive-ish, but maybe it's fancy-looking junk?
Does it ever make sense to buy one of these for most/some of the parts these days?

Had a neighbor that that had a bad motherboard. CyberPower wanted them to pay for shipping. WTF? It's all about the after-sales support that counts. Don't be a slacker on customer service.
