This might be fine for non-electrical and or low voltage.....but if you trust it for power, why would you want to have another wingnut for ground!

When did you nephews house burn down?

I won't use these even they are free. Just spend a few more bucks on WAGO.

They make a 3 Splice too, so you don't have the ground on it's own.

Seems a lot of the smaller Chinese companies just directly convert their company name so it's their location+brand+company name.
I guess "NineLeaf" is just a trade name as the business translates to "Shenzhen Jinsaier Investment Development Co., Ltd"

Let's make a long story short -- these are perfectly fine for something low voltage, like one of them children's "ARUDINO" or "RASPBERRY PI" projects.

You should NOT use these generic connectors for home wiring -- they most likely have very poor quality control. You don't want to play roulette with 110v mains.

Solution: Buy once, cry once. Buy legit "WAGO" brand connectors from Home Depot or a local electrical supply distributor.

Don't even think about using scAmazon, as they have a process called "inventory commingling" -- you have a extremely high chance of getting a counterfeit, even if you order something that's directly "shipped and sold by Amazon". I've personally gotten counterfeit textbooks, memory cards, and even toothbrushes (!) from them. It's simply not worth risking a house fire.

Normally, I'd say "do what you want, it's your money". But nah, this is the hill I'll defend. Just don't do it. Not worth the risk.

Ironically one of their photos shows this connector with a fire burning under it. Says it's "flame resistant and resists high temps" so I guess it will be intact after the fire.

Many Home Insurance companies do not accept unbranded push connectors as they have not been tested to ensure they meet US standards. However they do accept wire nuts of almost any type.
Be cautious about putting these in your walls. I like them but I had to switch to these push connectors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092T88...=UTF8&th=1 since they are CSA certified which is important for home insurance claims.
Wago Lever-Connectors (a branded type of quick-push wire connectors) ARE CSA certified as well but they are quite expensive at ~$80 per 100 connectors : https://www.amazon.com/Wago-221-4...industrial

The Wagos you linked to are 5 conductor, which aren't used as commonly as the smaller ones which would be cheaper, and even the 5 conductor can be found much cheaper at Menard's. https://www.menards.com/main/elec...c-6447.htm

Amazon is known to engage in inventory commingling -- this is common knowledge. And although I can't "prove" it via a forum like this, I most certainly have been a victim of this practice.

Furthermore, using generic electrical parts on mains voltages is exceptionally dangerous. I don't know how else to prove that other than "ask an electrician". Let's be blunt here -- if you don't realize the above, you probably shouldn't be working on mains power. Not to belittle anyone, but purely out of safety. Hire a licensed and bonded professional.

Call it puke, call it a thoughtful comment -- I really don't care. It's the difference between being safe and burning one's home down.
