Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro in open box form can arrive like new and deliver strong sound, effective noise cancellation, excellent ambient mode, and a good microphone, especially for Samsung phone owners. The buds are also described as comfortable and plenty listenable, with some pairs coming with sealed tips and a clean case. The main cautions are inconsistent open box condition, including missing accessories, scratches, pairing problems, charging trouble, and occasional damaged earbuds. Battery life is also short, often around 2 to 4 hours, so they suit short listening sessions best.

Common Questions (4)

They can arrive in like-new condition with sealed or new ear tips and the case sleeve still on, but open-box Best Buy units are also reported to arrive scratched, dirty, missing accessories, or with pairing and charging problems. Free returns make the gamble easier, but condition is not guaranteed.
Jasonc1482 rbraden r3l4x epaulo714
Yes. Reported problems include earbuds that won't pair, a previous-owner Find My Buds notification still attached, and charging that requires cleaning, wiggling, or tapping the contacts and still may fail. Those issues can make an "Excellent" unit unusable until returned.
epaulo714 Lalala2000 StTroyIII dznutz
Battery life is a weak point: reported runtime is about 2-4 hours, and even new units are said to fall short of class leaders. That makes them better for shorter listening sessions or as a second pair.
betterdeal Esaul562 dznutz
Yes, they are especially appealing with Samsung phones because the higher codec support is tied to Samsung devices, which can improve sound quality. At this price, they're also praised for strong sound, good ANC, excellent ambient sound, and a great microphone.

I picked up a pair a few months ago for 75. The silicone in ear parts were not even open, the case still had the sleeve around it. They were new.

Also got these previously, appeared brand new. Well worth the gamble given free returns and the price.

I just received my order of the Galaxy 4 Pros from Best Buy on the other thread. They were listed in excellent condition. But the right one crackles and I'm going to have to return it. I feel like there's probably a reason these are returned to start with, but hopefully I'm wrong.

I love how people are paranoid about ear wax. Have you ever heard of alcohol swabs? You know you can clean them before using them right? I will take 5 minutes cleaning earbuds to get $190 discount.

Not amazing but they're plenty listenable.

They're the first test and the video gets an A+ in not wasting time.

The last time I tried buying buds 3 pro, Silver model, in "excellent" condition from bb, I decided never to do it again. Not only were there no accessories included, but the headphones themselves were scratched and dirty, and the microphone on one of the earpieces was damaged. It wasn't immediately obvious until I ran the diagnostic test in the app; it turned out the damage was even affecting the noise-cancellation algorithms. Long story short: I won't be buying used headphones from bb again, and I don't recommend you do either.
