I bought one a few weeks ago. So far so good. It works with switch 2

I bought one last week - interesting device, not too intuitive to use. As a capture card the output for the computer is the USB Type A port, all the type Cs are for Nintendo Switch and power.

Be careful picking up any third party stuff for Switch 2 if it's dock related right now.

The new VRR v23 firmware update to Switch 2 breaks some USBC and HDMI dock devices. Some will require firmware updates that they may never get.

why do you need this for a switch 2? Doesnt this do what the dock does?

This could be good for a dock that is you might want in a different location from your main location or as a travel dock.

Could also risk bricking the switch 2 I heard. I just hate how stingy Nintendo has gotten, I had an adapter for my switch 1 that's alot more portable than the dock.
