Mine actually came with a very solid, cast-iron style tray with a much higher quality non-stick coating that can easily handle this, but sadly that tray doesn't seem to be included anymore which is a real shame, it was easily the highest quality of all the trays & is great for "grilling" stuff like chicken breasts or anything else you want to keep from sitting in its own fat while it cooks.
Aside from this minor gripe, the unit has held up quite well. It's pretty easy to clean & it's designed to do a decent job of preventing it from getting too grimy in the first place. I've used pretty much every function by now (except rotisserie), and none have caused me to question my life choices. ðŸ«
I was actually impressed with how effective it was at keeping the zones separate; I can air fry at 450° on one side and the other side will get a little ancillary steam/warmth at worst—definitely not hot, though. Never tried the sync function. Didn't mean to type this much, I guess I didn't realize how much I use this thing.
PROTIP: You can stack the 2 solid trays on top of each other & they'll fit in 1 slot. lol
