Too overpriced. Go to Chilis, you can get the 3 for me. You get an appetizer, The Big QP burger, fries and a drink all for $10.99. Dine in or Chilis To Go, all day, every day, no coupon needed.

I made the mistake of eating at Shake Shack for the first and last time recently. $22 for a sub-mediocre burger, the same crinkle fries your school cafeteria made, and a drink I couldn't get refilled. Service was glacially slow and the place was packed.

In-n-out is a good fast food burger relative to price for quality you get

Five Guys and Shake Shake has better burgers in my opinion, but prices are a bit high for what you pay for

Shake Shack's free burger with a $10 purchase reads as a solid fast food value, especially for people who want a ShackBurger without needing a second person or a rewards account. The promo can work well with fries, onion rings, shakes, or another sandwich, and the fresh Angus beef gets praised over cheaper chains. The main knocks are the high base prices, occasional slow service, confusing kiosk ordering, and reports of locations running out of items. It lands as a convenient way to stretch a $10 spend when the menu is in stock.

  • Shoppers pairing a burger with sides, because fries, onion rings, or a shake can still keep the total around $10 to $11.

    ctcsdINeverPayRetailMikster1Lazarous86

  • Fast-food burger fans who value fresher-tasting meat, because the burger is described as fresh, not frozen, Angus beef.

    HomerJayzapppz

  • People wanting a burger meal for one, because the free burger with a $10 spend works without needing a second person.

    qqzj

  • Buyers in high-price cities, because the burger or sandwich value can exceed $10 in New York or California.

    Isitbudgetfriendly

  • Diners who judge value against cheaper fast-food meals, because the burger is described as overpriced compared with McDonald's and similar options.

    MyRealAccountIsitbudgetfriendlyLordHypnos

  • Shoppers expecting a smooth in-store ordering flow, because the kiosk interface can be confusing and hard to use under pressure.

    Lazarous86

  • People who want reliable item availability, because locations can run out of cheese, chicken sandwiches, or shakes without warning.

I love Five Guys and Shake Shack. What is your idea of a good burger joint? And please don't say In and Out. Talk about mediocre.
I miss fudruckers

not about to travel to another state to have a less than mediocre burger at Chilis. $11 for a double stack and a single is good enough.
Guess you're from Oregon. I'm in California and the Chilis near me is awesome, and the value makes it a better choice than most places especially in todays economy.

Same. My son and I went and spent $40! I just don't understand the hype of this place. And for the commenter who asked for better places than this, if you don't know 3 or 4 local joints better than Shake Shack that's your problem.

Wildy overpriced for what you get. Feels like they're the new "it" thing in town when they show up for the first time. It's frankly just as bad as Five Guys. Fast food crap for $10 or $20 like it's a gourmet meal of some sort. Alas, the times we live in as they say
It's a good burger. Go yell at some clouds - it's a fine product and this deal is a good one.

Hmmm... I am NOT a huge fan of Shake Shack. But I like Five Guys. BOTH are a huge step up from McD;s, BK or Wendy's. Where do you go where you think the burger is "worth it"?My favorite burger in NYC is... Jackson Hole. Specifically, the Upper East side location. They advertise 7 oz burgers, but I think they are all more like 9 or 10 oz at least. The "classic" cheeseburger starts at 23.50 just for the burger though. Adding Steak Fries is another $10.50. So that's $34 plus tax and tip for a burger and fries. Been there many times, and I've never left disappointed in the burger however!!There are no inexpensive places anymore. Remember there is a beef shortage!
I used the Uber Eats promo at bareburger UES yesterday. If you do pickup and buy uber gift cardsTheir Smashburger is better than shake shack I think. At $4 a burger it certainly is

I just walked in and ordered. Their Kiosk interface is garbage for explaining finding where and when to enter the promo information. Had a line of people behind me and gave up to just sit down to do it from the app. Got a chicken, bacon, avocado sandwich that's $11. The shackburger is tried and true. IMO, 2 good sandwiches for 11 is a good deal.

I think you are describing In and Out. Average cheap looking burger. Yes I said it. Deal with that West Coast people. 🤣 Their fries is decent though.

Don't we all. My go-to spot every time I go to Myrtle beach. Smashburger has been alright for me lately, but still nowhere near Fuddruckers. And the cheese sauce and fries..
