If not, I'm legit curious how you put that much wear on that part of the shoe. The weak spots are the internal padding and the area where they glue the bottom to the top part.

Can't stress this enough. People buy these thinking they are gym or running shoes, then act shocked when they suck at that. If you stick to these as a dad shoe, they'll be terribly uncomfortable long before they fall apart.Also deal seems near dead. Down to like 11.5 in black/white only. Common with $ADDYY overstock sales.

I went with the Galaxy 7 Running Shoes, which probably suck as running shoes but should be solid for gym/low impact use.
