For those who havent played either I'd go this route. While the 2nd (will of wisps) is objectively a better game by typical metrics (more mechanics, prettier, longer, new save system, more polish for a few) I preferred the first game overall more. One thing I disliked about the 2nd (wisps) is the boss battle combat I found an awful experience.

i have never seen anyone say that will of the wisps is better but i did see 2 of you saying you guys are special gems that enjoyed the first one more.

I playes these on Xbox and these are my all time favorite platformers. I now have a PS5 and I wish the devs port The Blind Forest to PS5 so I can play again on my big TV.

I've played through both and would absolutely buy them again on PS5. The Will of the Wisps had some graphical issues on the original Switch. Some of the parallax textures were pretty bad in an effort to get higher frame rates.
