Visit the deal page on a desktop browser. Also do store pick up if possible to get the phone unlocked right away otherwise you might have to wait for 35 days for unlock.

You can select new customer and pay in full to get the $480 price. You can then select simplicity plan. Once you get the phone you can just cancel the line. Verizon unlocking policy states the devices are unlocked immediately if you pay in full. Their cancellation policy states no activation fee within 3 days and then only prorated charges if you cancel your line within 30 days.

***You might have to wait for 35 days before the phone is unlocked if you don't do store pickup in person as Verizon considers their online store purchase with delivery not secure. You can cancel your line nonetheless as the device will still unlock automatically after 35 days****

This Verizon Pixel 11 Pro deal is mainly attractive as an upfront discount on a new-line purchase, with store pickup often reported as the smoothest path. The phone is generally carrier unlocked after activation or pickup, and Google Fi or other non Verizon eSIM tests are the usual way to confirm it. The biggest caveat is Verizon's confusing unlock and cancellation behavior, with some orders unlocking immediately and others showing a 35 day wait or needing support. Billing can also be messy, with prorated charges, full month bills, and possible cashback timing issues to watch.

  • Buyers who want a cheaper unlocked Pixel and can use in-store pickup, because pickup cases repeatedly showed the phone unlocked right away and avoided the 35-day wait.

  • People who plan to use the phone on another carrier after setup, because the device can work with Google Fi or T-Mobile once it is unlocked.

  • Shoppers comfortable activating a new line briefly, because the phone can be verified unlocked and the line canceled the same day with only prorated service charges.

  • People who want a Pixel 11 Pro for everyday Android use, because it ships with a clean OS and regular updates without needing custom ROMs.

  • Buyers who need immediate eSIM flexibility on day one, because shipped units can stay locked for days or require Verizon support before another carrier eSIM will work.

  • People who want to install custom ROMs or degoogle the phone, because Verizon units have a permanently locked bootloader.

  • Shoppers who do not want to manage Verizon billing follow-up, because full-month bills, prorated adjustments, and chat-based waivers can still be needed after cancellation.

  • People who need a simple no-hassle purchase, because the checkout and unlock flow can involve credit checks, payment verification, and repeated order failures.

You see it today?
I had an offer for $600 that came in a couple days ago, and it's good through Sat. Checked verizon's site and I can still get either phone for the discounted price.

Picked up the phone at the store and went home.
Checked the account online, and the phone was listed as unlocked.
Started the Google Fi trial, and the phone works.
Had a chat with support and canceled the line/account.
Confirmed zero balance afterward and no other charges.
All of this took 30 minutes.

So I find that when you go through their normal "my plan" sequence it doesn't show the discount but going through the simplicity plan process does.

- New incog window go to vzw.com
- click on the "learn more" in the big red box for simplicity plan
- click "get started" in the big red box again for simplicity plan
- now you should see a grid of phones, filter by Google and you should see the discount

Not sure why you don't see it for non-simplicity

Yeah, and Verizon is not charging any activation fee right now so you don't get charged for that either. This is mentioned in the same webpage
Now the most important question will be, will the c1 cashback be credited even if we cancel the link before the cashback is credited?

Simplify plan is a requirement for the discounted price.

Bought yesterday with C1 and see it pending right now. Hope nothing goes wrong. Does anyone know if we need to actually pay for 2 months for the plan or is 1 month ok? The pending payout is in Nov though... but the deal says open a new line and never specifies how long to keep it open?

I have no idea...I don't do cashback. But with this much of cashback it makes sense to do it. I'd be cautious and perhaps pay the plan until the cashback is posted

Ordered two days ago, picked up at store yesterday, activated and swapped over my Tmobile eSim. Cancelled today via text chat on their site. Great Deal until the next one comes along.

What if I want to keep them new in the box, and not activate, just call Verizon to cancel? Will that work? I used the imei to check with AT&T and T-Mobile website both says compatible, will that confirm it is already unlocked? Thanks

Bought and picked up phone yesterday. 512gb $600 + tax. Didn't even bother activating the verizon line, went straight into stalling the eSIM for Mint and it worked flawlessly.

Set up a verizon account and activated the line today so that I could have account details handy to cancel it. Just said I don't get proper service at my workplace and denied help troubleshooting it.

FYI- I had set up the free 6mo of Google AI. As soon as the line was cancelled, all my gmail/google doc tabs were freaking out saying I no longer had that anymore

1.Ordered yesterday
2. Delivered today
3. Activated the line and in my Verizon account it showed device is locked. Reached out to customer support, they asked me few questions and performed device sync(don't know what it is) and then it showed device is unlocked and eligible for other domestic and international carriers.
4. I didn't cancel the line as I will be using it until my C1 rewards are credited.
