This Verizon Pixel 11 Pro deal is mainly about getting a flagship Pixel at a steep upfront discount, with the best value coming from store pickup, activation, and then canceling the line after verifying unlock status. The phone can work with other carriers like Google Fi, Mint, T Mobile, or Xfinity once unlocked, and the account often shows it as paid in full. The main catch is Verizon's confusing unlock behavior, since shipped orders sometimes stay locked for days or 35 days, and the bootloader remains permanently locked. Cancellation can also trigger full month bills or bill adjustments that may need chat support.

  • Shoppers planning to use Google Fi or another non-Verizon eSIM, because the phone can work unlocked after activation and accept other carriers.

  • Buyers comfortable activating in store and canceling quickly, because store pickup often verifies unlock immediately and leaves only a small prorated bill.

  • People who want a discounted Pixel and are willing to keep the line active until cashback posts, because the upfront price can be offset by a large new-line credit.

  • Pixel buyers who want a flagship Android for everyday use, because it runs a clean OS with regular updates and doesn't need custom ROMs.

  • Custom ROM tinkerers who need an unlockable bootloader, because Verizon units keep the bootloader permanently locked.

  • Buyers who need immediate out-of-box eSIM flexibility, because some shipped units stay locked until activation or a later unlock request clears.

  • Shoppers who want to cancel the Verizon line without any billing follow-up, because full-month bills and manual charge adjustments can still show up after cancellation.

  • People relying on a quick, guaranteed unlock for resale or a gift, because some orders still show locked for days and may need escalation or a 35-day wait.

I don't think canceling the line will keep the phone at $480. I think it's only that price with credit given on the bill every month for 36mo
You can think that, but my final bill is $10 and the phone is unlocked, the receipt says "Disc -620.00". The phone is also unlocked, Verizon doesn't unlock a phone that's not paid off.

You definitely should not be financing the phone if you want to cancel.

You pay the discounted price of the phone upfront then you cancel the line.

As mentioned before clear your cache/mobile browser/incognito phone. Also as mentioned before simplicity plan is required so go the main verizon website, select simplify plan and then smartphones.

So I chatted and disconnected my line and I can see in the app the service is disconnected. I activated yesterday and canceled in few mins. But today I got an email saying I have to pay $52 by Oct 24th. So I called the customer service and she was saying this bill you to pay as it was generated before the line was activated. She said next bill will be zero. dollars.

My final bill was about $10 for the 2 days of service.

Chat with another agent and mention it's buyers remorse cancellation and the tell them to apply credits to the current bill.

Picking up the phone at a store later today. I will have to confirm it is unlocked and cancelled. What is the best way to confirm the phone is unlocked?

Download Google Fi app and start a free trial. It will download an Fi eSIM which runs on T-mobile network. If that works, the phone is unlocked.

Well received my P11PXL, 2x P11P, and Watch 5 today. $2600 in charges, I regret using my ink cash card to pay. Thought it would be additional 5% cashback but it only qualifies as 1%cashback since it's devices.

$2400 C1 GC back pending.

Unlike most, planning to stick with VZW Simplicity plan. Tmobile has gone off the deep end.

Thanks OP.

Just curious, why people are not waiting for Black Friday Walmart deal, where you will get IPhone within same price?

I know in Walmart deal, we need to taxes on phone full price + Walmart e-gift coupon thing.

Just want to check your thoughts on this.
Because those of us who are buying Pixels are not interested in iPhones.

https://www.amazon.com/Google-Pix...r=8-3&th=1 For those questioning if this is a good deal or not. This might be one of the best deals of all time. Probably can't beat the HP touchback from back in the day but close. If you know you know.

Order the phone pick up the phone get home set up an account with verzion. Make a few calls and text. 8 hours later I did the chat told them no service at work cancel the line. Said I wasn't going to pay anything else and the account is closed. I can't even log into my old account. I was worried there would be some kind of catch well there really isn't unless you buy it online and not pick up at store than you might have to wait 35 days or 2 months to cancel but even paying 2 months for service the phone is going to be $250 cheaper than what Amazon has it for right now.
