This Verizon Pixel 11 Pro deal is mainly about getting a flagship Pixel at a steep upfront discount, with the best value coming from store pickup, activation, and then canceling the line after verifying unlock status. The phone can work with other carriers like Google Fi, Mint, T Mobile, or Xfinity once unlocked, and the account often shows it as paid in full. The main catch is Verizon's confusing unlock behavior, since shipped orders sometimes stay locked for days or 35 days, and the bootloader remains permanently locked. Cancellation can also trigger full month bills or bill adjustments that may need chat support.

  • Shoppers planning to use Google Fi or another non-Verizon eSIM, because the phone can work unlocked after activation and accept other carriers.

  • Buyers comfortable activating in store and canceling quickly, because store pickup often verifies unlock immediately and leaves only a small prorated bill.

  • People who want a discounted Pixel and are willing to keep the line active until cashback posts, because the upfront price can be offset by a large new-line credit.

  • Pixel buyers who want a flagship Android for everyday use, because it runs a clean OS with regular updates and doesn't need custom ROMs.

  • Custom ROM tinkerers who need an unlockable bootloader, because Verizon units keep the bootloader permanently locked.

  • Buyers who need immediate out-of-box eSIM flexibility, because some shipped units stay locked until activation or a later unlock request clears.

  • Shoppers who want to cancel the Verizon line without any billing follow-up, because full-month bills and manual charge adjustments can still show up after cancellation.

  • People relying on a quick, guaranteed unlock for resale or a gift, because some orders still show locked for days and may need escalation or a 35-day wait.

A quick Google search surface this https://www.reddit.com/r/Visible/s/RghZxPs5Yu, look at the last comment about the push method from Mint website where you might have able to put the IMEI and then they push an eSIM to the phone.
You are a god thank you it worked 🙏

Apparently that bug has been around since at least the Pixel 8 on Verizon from what I found. That's what I was trying to explain before, it doesn't make sense and it threw me off when I first attempted to add an eSIM as well. I'm glad that worked for you!

Just want to add my experience with this deal.

I purchased for in-store pickup. Verizon never sent me a confirmation that my pickup was ready, but when I checked my order status the next day it was available in my local store. The pickup was painless; they checked my ID, grabbed the phone, and I was out of the door in less than five minutes, no upselling. After I got home and activated the phone on Verizon, I waited a few hours and was then able to install a trial Google Fi eSim no problem, confirming it was not carrier-locked. The Verizon website also showed my device being paid in full. I waited until the following day to chat with a Verizon rep to cancel.

The chat process is where things started to go awry. I spent over an hour on the chat just to cancel my service and try to ensure I was not charged for the full first month. The chat agent never seemed to fully understand what I was asking for (prorated credit for the remainder of the month). I pointed her to the return policy but she just kept talking about the activation fee. Finally, she seemed to understand, and in the disconnect confirmation link she sent me it showed a credit for the unused portion of the first month of service. She said this would be reflected in my bill within a few hours. The next day, I tried to check my bill to make sure the credits went through. However, since my account was now cancelled, I was unable to log in on the main page; I had to do some Googling to realize that cancelled accounts have to log in at https://secure.verizon.com/access...ectedStart After logging in there, I could see that my bill was still for the full amount. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) To make matters worse, the chat window does not appear to function corrrectly when you are logged in with a disconnected account.

So ultimately I had to call customer service and make my way to an agent. Thankfully, he immediately grasped what I was asking for and confirmed that the previous agent did not actually make the requested adjustment. He submitted the credit and said it would show up in 3-5 business days. I can't confirm this went through yet, but I am much more confident this time.

TL;DR: great deal, worked out for me, but Verizon's customer service can make things harder than necessary
I can't log in there. Not sure if anyone else is having the same problem, but I keep getting: "The information you entered does not match our files."

A few days after I cancelled an updated bill posted for under $10. I must've been lucky I never needed to call in for any of it, which was actually pretty shocking.
Haha definitely be grateful for that. I'll post again if an updated bill comes up, but I'm not super hopeful. I do have the screenshot from the chat customer rep when I cancelled indicating it would only be ~$3 as my final bill, so not too worried about getting it back eventually. But what a headache to go through this phone tree to get a human agent.

When I cancelled the same day I activated, I was told a $3 bill. Then 2 days later I got a final bill saying $51. I had to call them today. A nice CSR waived the whole thing for me. She said I should still get a paper bill because once you cancel your line, you can't even log in or access your account anymore.

Make sure you are putting in your last name in the middle field. For me the site or browser incorrectly adds my username/email address there every time I visit the page.

Thanks for the datapoint. Guess I'll try back again until I get a knowledgeable rep.

I successfully activated on ESIM2 Verizon MVNO, US Mobile Warp, but it took contacting US Mobile support. Automated process hung at the step of transferring to new device. Support tried some things and ultimately had to escalate - they took my email and said I'd get an update in 24-48 business hours after having to contact the 'parent carrier' to fix it. Assuming some Verizon provisioning issue that's probably impacting all sorts of folks per this thread. They had it fixed Monday (started on the weekend) and I received an email when it was ready. Had to contact US Mobile support again to wrap up the transfer.

Bought online with in-store pickup. Activated the line with Verizon (ensure I get C1) and showed unlocked on Verizon the first time I checked that day.
I'm going through with the same thing for Xfinity Mobile. When you finally transferred your US Mobile esim, did they complete it for you on their end or you were able to do it by going through your Pixel's settings menu?

Those of you who aren't just trying to resell these devices and canceling, which service you want to use? Fi? Mint?

That's not working. I basically get past the part where it's phone number, last name, billing zip.

It then asks for password, and then I get an error. I'm pretty sure my password is right because it was saved down. So I don't get it, and there's no way to reset it.

They completed the esim on their end and the phone prompted for an available esim at the same time I got the email from US Mobile with a link to activate.

Really appreciate it greatly, now I don't need to spend money on black Friday for a phone.

Mint is generally the cheapest one. Fi is good for upgrading to latest flagship every year without paying a dime but that can be done along with your main service provider. Fi does have priority access to T-Mobile which no other MVNO has.

Almost 48 hours has passed on the unlock request - a case was created and I guess more waiting now.
