Visit the deal page on a desktop browser. Also do store pick up if possible to get the phone unlocked right away otherwise you might have to wait for 35 days for unlock.

You can select new customer and pay in full to get the $480 price. You can then select simplicity plan. Once you get the phone you can just cancel the line. Verizon unlocking policy states the devices are unlocked immediately if you pay in full. Their cancellation policy states no activation fee within 3 days and then only prorated charges if you cancel your line within 30 days.

***You might have to wait for 35 days before the phone is unlocked if you don't do store pickup in person as Verizon considers their online store purchase with delivery not secure. You can cancel your line nonetheless as the device will still unlock automatically after 35 days****

Other noticeable phones available with discounts

Motorola Razr fold: $1200
Motorola Edge 2026: $240
Motorola Razr 2025: $240

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: $960

See this thread for more details on Verizon line activation and cancellation. Make sure to open a regular account with Verizon first with email address and passwd. Then add the new line in that account. That allows you to track the cancellation and bill through that account even after the line is removed.

This Verizon Pixel 11 Pro deal is mainly attractive as an upfront discount on a new-line purchase, with store pickup often reported as the smoothest path. The phone is generally carrier unlocked after activation or pickup, and Google Fi or other non Verizon eSIM tests are the usual way to confirm it. The biggest caveat is Verizon's confusing unlock and cancellation behavior, with some orders unlocking immediately and others showing a 35 day wait or needing support. Billing can also be messy, with prorated charges, full month bills, and possible cashback timing issues to watch.

Common Questions (5)

  • Often yes, but some orders show a delayed unlock status until Verizon processes the device. Store pickup with ID has repeatedly shown immediate unlock, while shipped orders have sometimes needed 24-48 hours or up to 35 days depending on how Verizon classifies the payment method.

  • Yes, the line can be canceled right after activation and verification, but Verizon may first show a full-month bill that often needs chat support to prorate or waive. Several buyers report same-day or next-day cancellation with only a small prorated charge once the rep disconnects the line immediately.

  • The most reliable check is to add a non-Verizon eSIM or trial, especially Google Fi, and confirm it connects and makes calls/texts. Verizon's own unlock page or a list of available networks can help, but eSIM transfer bugs can make a locked phone look unlocked, so a working Fi trial is the clearest test.

  • No. Verizon Pixels are reported to have a permanently locked bootloader, so OEM unlocking stays greyed out and custom ROM installs like GrapheneOS or LineageOS are not supported through the bootloader route.

  • Yes. The 256GB Pixel 11 Pro/XL comes with 12GB RAM, while the 512GB and higher versions have 16GB RAM.

not a good deal if you need unlocked phone first then just get 40-60 dollar phone and wait for the industry to implode the whole chip market is bad right now due to ai slop datacenters just ignore all deals related with chips. ddr5 is not worth it right now at all let the ai datacenters over pay first.

yes. They said they wouldn't unlock it for 30 days. Their reason was that it was paid by credit card and not cash to avoid fraud and chargebacks.

I looked at their unlocking policy in a bjt detail. Apparently they don't consider online purchase as secure even if they are done through their website. So one needs to wait for 35 days before the phone is unlocked. Good thing is you can cancel your service and device will still unlock. That used to be the case with 60 days wait as well.

I don't know why the phone was unlocked for some who ordered earlier. It's possible something change in the backend while(because) the deal was going on to change the unlocking behavior.

Could it be that those that show unlocked used a Debit card instead of Credit?

  1. Order placed yesterday
  2. Picked up in-store today
  3. Line got activated automatically upon turning on and setting up the phone
  4. Logged into My Verizon account and saw the device was already showing as unlocked
  5. Confirmed unlocked status by using Google Fi trial eSIM which worked fine
  6. Chatted with agent in verizon website and requested for cancelation. Initially he said that the line gets canceled only at the end of the bill cycle and I have to pay the bill. Stated cancelation policy and he immediately agreed I don't have to pay anything apart from pro-rated charges
  7. Confirmed cancelation and saved the chat transcript with the agent
  8. Transferred my T-Mobile eSIM from my old phone (S23 Ultra) without any issues
All went smooth in a matter of 3 hours.

For the ones whose are still showing locked, did you do store pickup or delivery?

Delivery, as it didn't show Verizon store in 25 miles radius for pickup.
