Good deal but misleading picture. It's the red that is the price listed as the posted price on SD. You should put the color red socks in the picture. Otherwise put the price of the socks that are pictured as the SD price. A bit of bait and switch. You must be trying to become a staff member.
Well that took a turn. Reading a whole lot into a very minor error bud

Only one review with a comment stated that it's thinner than advertised. Maybe 5 reviews total. Saved you a click.

That review is correct. I've seen these at my local Walmart and 'heavyweight' isn't just an exaggeration, it's an outright fabrication. This is coming from someone who lives in the Northeast with frigid temps in the wintertime and knows what a true 'heavyweight' boot sock is/should be.

Smartwools are amazing - I have two pairs and they are 20 years old and still in perfect condition (granted I probably only wear them a few times a year).

But let's be honest, Smartwool is a drastically different price point than a buck a pair. 🙂

If you like your Smartwools, both Costco and Sam's often carry similar quality wool socks of varying brands for less than $5/pair.

52% cotton, 47% polyester, 1% spandex Perfect exclusively for the fireplace mantle for Santa to fill with candy. Everyone I know who wears boots for work or sport wears merino wool socks. Darn Tough.
