these are Chinese and not Japanese, but for the price they're solid. I've got them along with enloops and fujitsus and unless you've got a high load situation these work well. I use them in flashlights and soap dispenser and they last plenty long

While the pricing on these are decent, you do get what you paid for.
I have a weather remote thing - using real eneloops, it shows 50% power. Using Amazon Basics, these remotes are showing "low battery" -- although both are functioning for about the same amount of time???

In short, lower normal/stable voltage, so buyer be aware of this "fun fact" (some devices, such as fire alarms or Airthings devices require a certain voltage and may error out/not work properly due to this low voltage.)

Bought a twelve pack 3 months ago and likely won't buy any more but did not regret purchase enough to return it. Longevity is a concern as many reviews state there's an issue with longevity.

Unfortunately, agree with folks that are having poor experiences with these Amazon Basic rechargeables. All have very poor shelf life, often not lasting even a couple months with a charge in devices that get little/no use (camp lights, remotes, etc.).

Would definitely skip these. I wouldn't use them again even for free - they are that frustrating.

The black tops ones are bad. The silver ones are good though.

I've bought dozens of these over the past decade, they're O-K. I've been transitioning all my Amazon Basics AA/AAA to Tenergy as they 'error' out on my charger.

What is a good per-battery price for Tenergy AAAs?
