I sank a lot of hours in this game back in the day on my Nintendo disk system. Funny how the mind remembers things differently when you get older. I would have sworn it was a NES/Nintendo Entertainment System.

Wow, old memories. One of the first things I remember coming to America. Was a dirt poor child of 2 chinese graduate students. I worked as a paperboy, rented this game, and played the hell out of it over a weekend. Funny how when you were young, had no money, but still had way more fun than now being middle aged, money aplenty, but nothing feels as fun anymore. It was a harsh childhood with hardship and endless amount of studying, but yet miss my childhood...

I meant did someone else register a similar Konami name, put up for free and gather data or something???I would think this would've been around on the store for years for like $.99

On the App Store page, tap the developer name to view their other games. There are titles going back 10+ years; this dev didn't pop up yesterday.

It's 40th anniverary for the Japanese release on the Nintendo Famicom Disk System.. Maybe next year we'll get the port for the American Nintendo Entertainment System

I used an SNES "disk system" (3.5" floppy disks) in NYC briefly, back in the day... so I know it exists here.

"Nintendo disk system" may have been an NES version of this - not what the brief google search stated.

Castlevania was easy. Ghosts 'n goblins was a lot more difficult.

Installed on a tablet - the actual gameplay screen is about 1/3 of the screen so it's way too small, no option to increase the size/full-screen. Yet another reason gamers use emulators because they actually want a good experience.

Nothing? You need better hobbies! Good money opens the door to many.

I'll be 29 in my head forever woot , I just did 3 sets of full bodyweight 10-12 dips even though I'm "overweight" (temporarily, unavoidable) and I have loads of fun with pretty much whatever I want.

I'm even tempted to play Castlevania 1 on NES. Although the graphics are simple, the Castlevania series on NES has some of the best music I've ever heard. This is even when counting any song of any kind. I can appreciate Carnegie Hall concerts in person, but I'd still rank a couple of Castlevania NES soundtracks above most of them.

You're very lucky you never had to play Atari 2600! Not saying I was in that situation, but from what I understand, it sucked!
