Seems like a good amount of protein for a high sodium struggle meal. Anyone try this before? Is it any good? Or is there a better choice out there for a $1.28ish meal that gives 19g of protein? Soliciting advice!

Egg whites? A decent protein bar on sale. Greek yogurt. Chicken breast or tuna.

I have not tried this soup but am generally not a fan of Progresso. 19g of protein for 310 calories is not great and the sodium is crazy as always in canned soup. I actually was using AI this morning to help with a diet and exercise plan to lose weight. I lost a leg last year and have gained about 40 lbs which of course just makes everything worse. It suggested trying to get 20 grams of protein for 200 calories.

my experience with progresso is that there's a lot of 'taste' - i am going to try this anyway as i need more beans ...

if you have a kitchen, eggs are cheaper and healthier. so are beans. you can make your own bean soup for less than this. this stuff is also filled with cheap soy-derived protein powder, which isn't great. unless you're predominantly cooking over an old oil drum next to the train tracks, skip the canned progresso.

Not sure these will ship but I did this type deal on the Lasagna cans and they all shipped individually and every single one had a massive dent in it. I returned the entire batch. Again idk if that's how these will ship but be aware

It's $1.28 at Amazon cause Kroger has them for $1.29 this week. You can get any flavor there, limit 5 per plus membership (free).

I've had this and think it's pretty good. It definitely does not lack beans. I recommend adding hot sauce.

I've had most, if not all, of the Progresso Protein soups and think they're decent enough.

Cans of Progresso are currently $1.27 (with digital coupon) at Albertsons/Safeway in my area and $1.29 (with digital coupon) at Fry's (Kroger subsidiary).
