I would buy one for a bit less. The vertuo pods are really good. It's a good system. And a premium maker isn't a terrible idea. But not sure $500 (or $700?) is the right price point.

I have to agree with you - and I am a vertuo user. I like the vertuo system a lot, but this seems like an overdressed $150 machine with a milk frother built in. Has to be a small addressable market for this specific machine.

Buy original, I have both original and vertuo, vertuo I using maybe one, two box per year, original almost every day, also you have other manufacturers like Illy or kimbo, lavazza not so but its cheaper. Also vertuo its bad espresso period even blue bottle. I don't think I pay more then 200 something dollars for each.
