The onn 4K Pro is a fast Google TV streamer that stands out for sideloading, a cleaner launcher option, and solid everyday streaming performance. It feels snappy, supports phone apps as tiles, and the 32GB storage leaves room for extras. The main tradeoffs are its 100 Mbps Ethernet port, USB 2.0, and limited headroom for very high bitrate or TrueHD Atmos playback. At around $50 to $60, it lands as a strong value for most streaming setups.

  • The SAVE3X promo code can work for store pickup and can reduce the final checkout total.

  • The device supports sideloading and can show sideloaded phone apps as launcher tiles.

  • The device can feel fast and responsive for streaming, especially after installing a cleaner launcher.

  • The Ethernet limitation can be worked around using USB Ethernet adapters that reach hundreds of Mbps.

  • The SAVE3X promo code can fail depending on fulfillment option or eligibility, even when stock shows available.

  • The Ethernet port is limited to about 100 Mbps, which can make wired networking less useful for some setups.

  • Some playback scenarios can show dropped frames or stuttering, especially with high-bitrate content.

  • The device may not passthrough Dolby Atmos TrueHD due to processor or SoC limitations.

100Mbps is higher than any 4K Blu-Ray. How do you guys struggle with this so much?
Looks like 100 Mbps isn't fast enough for uncompressed 4K Blu-ray: https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/com...t_play_4k/

this is being returned, not even worth $50, poor picture quality with interlaced OTA and any older mpeg files, pure garbage, the older android streamers were really good at what this cant do. So the only remaining device that's OK at everything is the Apple TV, too bad its remote is garbage and cant map number or color keys from other remotes. There really isn't a great device out there.
Weird usage in 2026. Ain't nobody watching tv with commercials and MPEGs from 2001.

Most range between 50Mbps and 90Mbps. You have to get be using uncompressed three layer discs to see 128Mbps.

Is this YOUR personal experience or you're just parroting what others are saying?

I've played "Back to the Future Part III", something that can push the limits, saw it go up to 130mbps and still some stuttering with an external ethernet adapter. One other aspect people can encounter is delay while skipping forward or going back.

Is this device intended for high-bitrate viewers? Probably not, but stop acting like 100Mbps connection is "good enough" for 4K Blu-ray.

What's YOUR real-world experience with this device?

After five days, Walmart just canceled my order. This is the second time this has happened. Ugh
