I was wondering about how many batteries we'd get at this price! Not that bad of a cost compared to other retailers, but are these really worth it?
Lowe's has 2 for $18.49

Not at all. 9V battery is not for any electronics that requires long time of sustained volts. At this price, can buy several 9V batteries, just replace it when needed, and 9V is not easy to drop voltage. So it's not worth it.
