I only use cheap vegetable oil for cooking. I can't taste the difference between the different types of cooking oils.
Not how that works

You might want to check the health studies on vegetable oil vs a top tier oil like olive oil. There's a reason why olive oil is so prized.

Absolute garbage oil given the price and amount
Instead of just telling people this is bad (despite not even trying it yourself) how about suggesting an alternative?

kirkland (costco brand) evoo

it is obvious it is garbage since they cannot even use a proper container (dark plastic, dark glass or tin), not to mention the fact that it is a blend from multiple countries, Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Tunisia, Morocco, or Turkey

Yup, i buy evoo from Costco because they test it:

I trust their quality control.

Google says Amazon branded Evoo ranks poorly in professional taste evaluations, performing near the bottom in grocery evaluations due to a pale color, weak aroma, and flat flavor:

It also gives suggestions on how to test if it's real Evoo. (ie: fridge test)

That's true but this is probably not 100% olive oil as most cheap olive oil is either mixed with cheaper oil or it is just 100% other oil that is flavored and colored to look like olive oil. Studies have show that over 70% of all cheap olive oil on the market is fraudulent. A pretty consistent way to get real 100% olive oil is to look at the price jump between cheaper brands and expensive brands, and just going by the price point jump is often a good indicator of where the products that are actually 100% pure olive oil start.

Most people are missing the underlying issue here: most cheap oil labelled as olive oil is NOT 100% olive oil, and sometimes has no olive oil in it at all. Studies have shown after testing dozens of different cheap brands such as Pompeian, Amazon, etc. as well as more expensive brands that roughly 70% of different cheap brands were proven to have been diluted with other cheaper other oils that weren't olive oil, or sometimes had no olive oil in them at all, just added coloring and aroma/flavoring to make it look/taste/smell like olive oil. Any real 100% pure olive oil is going to cost about 3x this much. A fairly good way to tell if an olive oil is actually 100% pure is by looking at the price points because there is a big jump in price between cheap brands and good brands. Generally speaking, most brands above that big price gap should be 100% pure olive oil whereas most brands that are really cheap like this one or Pompeian have been proven to be cut with other cheaper oils. The U.S. companies deny intentionally doing this and get around taking responsibility because they source their oil from cheap distributors in many other countries who often forge authenticity certificates, U.S. companies know this but don't care because the oil is so cheap so they look the other way, and since no one is held responsible for this fraud it has become common place over the years. Think of it as the oil version of a "Quality Learing Center".
