This Colgate toothpaste promo is strongest for shoppers whose Target prices line up with the posted math, especially when the listed items ring up at higher base prices. The deal can still work with pickup or shipping, and the extra gift card offers can stack for more savings. The main snag is that the calculation appears easy to misread, with the $5 promotional gift card getting counted twice in the post. Checkout also required a profile with both a first and last name, and one toothpaste formula was reported to cause sensitivity after a few months.

  • The deal math can work out to about $10.54 after pickup when subtracting the $5 promo from $15.54.

    jrocks18

  • The deal can still land around $7.89 with taxes after using a different Colgate 3-pack and applying the $5 gift card.

    mozmoz1

  • The toothpaste deal can be completed with shipping and may stack with an additional "spend at your pace" $5 offer.

    Tarkov

  • The listed prices can be comparatively better when local base prices for the same Colgate items are higher.

    naveednn

  • The $5 promotional gift card can be deducted twice in the posted calculation, which makes the math look incorrect.

    mozmoz1mozmoz1

  • Checkout can require adding a first and last name to the user profile before the order will go through.

    clearwater81

  • Using the toothpaste for a few months can make teeth sensitive.

    ChampionX

  • Target pricing can change by zip code or location, which can prevent the deal from matching the expected totals.

It's possible that what you did wrong is live where Target decided to charge you more 😂. I didn't try this deal but I find that I get lower prices if I change my zip code.
That's definitely what it is. My base prices for all items are higher.

You need a spreadsheet and a minor in Target Circle studies to figure out the real total in this thread. Everybody's math comes out different and somehow everybody is still ahead. Toothpaste economics.

It didn't have the $2 coupon in my account. But found a 15% off coupon to use instead. Total came to $10.14 after tax. Thanks OP!
