This is a direct thermal shipping label printer aimed at small businesses that print a lot of packages. The labels are reported to look good and the printer is easy to use, and the Bluetooth setup can be bypassed with a continuously running server for AirPrint style printing. The main drawbacks are durability and compatibility concerns, since direct thermal labels can fade with heat and time, the roll size may not fit UPS rolls, and the connection can drop after a few hours. A practical pick if you want simple shipping labels and can live with the format limits.
The printer can be made to work with AirPrint by running a continuously available server.
The labels can look good and the printer can be easy to use for shipping label printing.
Thermal paper roll sizes are described as standardized, which can reduce refill compatibility concerns.
The printer can be a good fit for small businesses that ship frequently.
The printer can be tied to proprietary thermal paper and support or app compatibility can become a long-term risk.
The accepted roll size can be too small for common UPS rolls, which can force different label sourcing.
Direct thermal labels can fade because heat affects the printed image over time.
The printer can lose connection to a PC and may require power cycling to restore printing.

I have a few old TLP2844 printers that are still working perfectly after 10 years with me. I bought them used from a medical office when they upgraded.
I'm sure newer models exist.
